Vintage Emerald and Diamond Cluster Engagement Ring in 18ct 18k Yellow Gold

A wonderful Vintage Emerald & Diamond Cluster Ring dating back to the late first half of the 20th Century. The ring showcases an estimated 1.00ct natural Emerald with vivid greenish blue hue (measuring 6 x 6 x 6mm) framed by twelve chunky and sparkly old mine cut diamonds (each measuring 2 x 2mm) in a square halo or cluster design. The curvaceous open under gallery leads to engraved split shoulders ending in a smooth shank, all crafted in 18k yellow gold. The ring is not hallmarked though it has tested positive for 18k gold.

Currently fitting a small size UK "J", US "4 5/8". It can be slightly adjusted to fit your size. I am happy to offer a resizing service by my goldsmith for an additional fee of £55 (lead time 7 business days). Do please get in touch to discuss your size :)

The ring rises 4mm above the finger, tapering to a 2mm wide at the base of the shank. The face of the ring measures 10 x 10mm and weights 2.5 grams.

— Condition —

The ring is in wonderful estate condition, with light wear commensurate to age. The Emerald does not show any scratches nor surface abrasions and the diamonds are intact, with no sign of chipping.
